Bishop Extends Interim Appointment

During the Sunday service on November 28th, 2021, a letter was read to parishioners from Bishop Anna with regards to a continuation of Rev. Adela's appointment as Interim Priest-in-Charge, until December 31st, 2022.  Please find the text below:

Friends,
I am pleased to announce that the Reverend Dr Adela Torchia has accepted my request that she continue as your interim priest-in-charge until December 31, 2022.
When Adela accepted this appointment in January 2020, she understood that she was entering a community in transition, but I believe it’s safe to say that she didn’t expect to be walking with the parish through two years of pandemic-life. However, she has done so with courage, deep patience and grace.
I am thankful for Adela’s dedicated, ongoing ministry at Two Saints, and I am grateful that she is willing to continue to lead the parish through these liminal times.
I hope that the congregation of Two Saints will continue its ministerial presence in the Cordova Bay and Lakehill area, buoyed by the time and stability that Adela’s presence has offered you all.
