John Miles has served as Verger at St. Peter, Lakehill, since 1999. Born and raised in Dartington, England, John retired as resident contract gardener at B.C. Government House, the official residence of Her Majesty the Queen in British Columbia, and the home of the Lieutenant Governor. John faithfully offers leadership to St. Peter's groundskeeping, custodial, and building maintenance ministries. He also cares for the grounds of St. John's House, the B.C. home of the Sisters of St. John the Divine.
